Trend of the Week: MadHatters

By Jadée Nikita

Question: What can a good hat do for you?

Answer: Uh, everything!

Ever find yourself stuck in a fashion rut, with only 10 minutes to get ready for a full day of running errands, dancing for 8 hours, then grabbing drinks with the ladies for happy hour?  You don’t have time to really do your hair so the best you can do (given the time constraints) is grab the first hat you see, throw on a pair of boyfriend jeans and your favorite sweatshirt, smack those lips with a rouge gloss and hit the door.  When you finally catch your breath, and your reflection, you can feel confident knowing you look stunning!

A good hat can turn a bad hair day around.  A good hat can turn a no clean laundry day into a “Girl, you look great!  Where can I get that outfit?”  moment.  A good hat can make a sweet outfit chic, and for my gyals who dance you already know a good hat gets you in that zone!  When it comes to hats, the style options are endless!  From beanies to snap-backs and bowler hats to messenger caps, we love ’em all!

Our favorite hat trends this season are chunky 3D embellishments, gold-chained brims, “animal ear” bowler hats, and bold lettering excaliming how “FLY” or “RICH” you are.  We can’t forget about our long time A/W friend, Mr. Beanie – keeping us warm since ’86.  Add to your beanie collection by shopping for neon and jewel-toned colors.  We especially love neon yellow and plum hues for fall.
