2014 for beauty is really kicking off the year with beautiful pops colors, natural, angelic skin finishes, and bronze gilded eyeshadows. Designers and makeup artists collaborated to create looks that are not only beautiful, but wearable for the every day woman.
Skin is flawless, yet dewy and natural. Bronzers and highlighters were used with a light-hand to bring the skin warmth, and natural light. Brows are kept beautifully groomed but not overly done.
“Radiant Orchid” is 2014’s Pantone Color of the Year, and designers implemented this shade by showcasing it on model’s lips.
“An enchanting harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones, Radiant Orchid inspires confidence and emanates great joy, love and health. It is a captivating purple, one that draws you in with its beguiling charm.”(Pantone)
For Spring 2014, hairstylists also followed the same notion by creating easy to follow styles for the everyday woman. It’s ok if a hair or few are out of place, or if they braid isn’t perfect and pulled tightly. Mess it up a little, or don’t try too hard, this year, hair that’s a little messy is sultry, it’s confident, it says, “I’m beautiful, just the way I am.”
Pop with Coral
Not a fan of Radiant Orchid? It’s ok, because coral tones are on-trend and equally just as beautiful. This shade pairs nicely with the other beauty trends of spring 2014.
Bronze Gilded Lids
Need a little more color on they eyes? Makeup artists dusted shades of bronze suitable for nearly every skin tone, and can be worn for nearly any occasion.
