Let’s face it, florals have always and will always be on trend for any spring/summer season. The trick to flawlessly pulling it off is being in the know. Knowing which floral style, color palette, and cuts are in that year. For example, this season is all about rockin’ the Dolce and Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, and Fausto Puglisi influenced floral print tops. This print is typically embellished with oversized palm tree leaves, and tropical flowers of all colors scattered on a bright white or black background. So this Spring, don’t go for the typical garden flower print. Instead, shop for designs that remind you of a tropical getaway in the islands of the Caribbean.
When shopping this trend, don’t forget to keep in mind what works best for your body. I typically stick to smaller prints in pastels, and bold summer colors like teal, coral and lime green. Black is best for us gyal’s who sweat, and crop tops of all styles are a must-have for your summer wardrobe. If you wanna keep it fresh, opt for tropical jersey-style tanks, and loose-fitted and light weight button downs as pictured below.
