Trend of the Week: Puff, Puff, Paisley

If you are in love with prints this summer then you may want to try pruning your traditional florals for my new obsession, the paisley print.  Perfect for gyal’s who like to keep their wardrobe full of the freshest gear, paisley pairs well with other prints like horizontal stripes, and also comes in a variety of colors and cuts.  You can dress up the look by shopping for paisley in pastels and flowing fabrics as spotted on the S/S14 runway of Etro.  Or, you can keep the look street by shopping for oversized shirts and tank dresses that feature a bandana-style paisley print in Americana colors like red, blue, black and white.

Words of Advice:When I was browsing the web for the perfect bandana top, I found a lot of them were sold out.  So if you happen to find a bandana inspired ‘fit, buy it!  It may not be there the next time you come back.

I had great success finding hip hop inspired looks on the pages of ASOS , R H U D E, and Fabrixquare, but the last two featured designs mainly for men.  So ladies if you come across any stores with bandana looks give me a shout, or just post in the comment box below.  Thanks in advance 🙂
