Get Rid of Dandruff the Natural Way!

By Cody Frank

White flakes on your shoulders and falling from your head? The only white specks that you want to see are snowflakes! Winter is here and your scalp may be showing the signs. No one wants to be constantly scratching their head or worried about their scalp. I have found that these treatments at home are better for your wallet, your body, and the environment.

Aloe vera. Massage aloe vera onto your scalp and wait 20 minutes. Then go in the shower and rinse off with shampoo. It doesn’t only help sunburned skin, it helps any dry skin! Tip, you can also try this with lemon juice if summer used up your supply of aloe vera.

Coconut oil & almond oil or olive oil. Warm up some oil on the stove or in the microwave. Massage into your scalp and wrap a towel around your head. Sleep a night like this and in the morning rinse out your hair. Moisturize those dead skin cells!

Apple cider vinegar. Combine two cups of water and two cups of apple cider vinegar. Shampoo your hair as normally then rinse it out with this mixture. There are various ways to use the vinegar.  You can read more about those uses here!

There are various ways to fight dandruff without purchasing dandruff shampoo or loading your scalp with chemicals. Try out one and if it does not work move on to the next one. Make sure to give treatments enough time to work, one time isn’t enough. You’ll be flake free in no time.
